We teach the next generation of researchers to develop scientific, social, and technological innovations.
We find solutions through interdisciplinary research and industry or public and community partnerships.
We play an active role in Québec's economic, social, and cultural development.

INRS students present their professional and personal journey in the vast world of science.
“My serial research” gathers texts from graduate students to disseminate and promote the research conducted in one of the four research centres of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS). The series provides a wide range of innovative and multidisciplinary perspectives, projects, and topics of study.
The series is also intended as a way for young scientists to communicate their master’s or doctoral topic to the public and to make science accessible and interesting to a wide audience. Since August 2020, more than 22 scientists have shared their passion for a subject that is often out of the ordinary.
