Ambassador’s Role

You will help boost INRS’s profile as a leading university research institute for partnerships and the training of scientific leaders. You will promote INRS faculty, programs, and research internships, as well as research activities in strategic sectors for the economic, cultural and social development of Quebec.


Mandate term

Ambassadors’ terms last one year, from May 1 to April 30 and are renewable for an additional year.


How to apply

Does this challenge interest you? Submit your application to Joanie Lavoie at joanie.lavoie@inrs.ca. Please note that you must be proficient in French to be an ambassador. Your application must include:

  • Transcripts for all studies completed to date
  • A letter of motivation in French explaining why you would like to take on this role and how you can help promote INRS (1 page)
  • A reference letter from your research supervisor highlighting your communication skills
  • A CV


Evaluation criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on four criteria out of total score of 100:

  • Motivation (40 points)
  • Academic record (30 points)
  • Support from the research supervisor (20 points)
  • Proficiency in a language other than French (10 points)


Scholarship

A scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to each ambassador to thank them for their commitment.
