The Laboratoire de contr\u00f4le du dopage is the only lab in Canada accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency<\/a> (WADA) and a number of international sports federations. In 1976 it was one of the first laboratories accredited by the sports community. Since 2004 WADA and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have consistently renewed its accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Laboratoire de contr\u00f4le du dopage processes 15,000 samples a year to detect any of the 400 illegal drugs and doping agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Laboratory expertise has been sought by Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), the Professional Tennis Association (PTA), and various Olympic Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
