Some thirty members of the INRS community will be taking part in the 91st Acfas congress, whose theme this year is Mobiliser les savoirs en fran\u00e7ais<\/em><\/strong>, organized in collaboration with the University of Ottawa<\/a>. This is an opportunity for the student community, faculty members, and administrators to present their research and share their expertise and reflections at events, colloquia, and networking sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Public policy and the well-being of Indigenous populations, natural hazards, women and immigration, data management, and adaptation to climate change are just some of the areas of expertise that will be addressed by members of the INRS community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This year, INRS is co-organizing a symposium on research in rural areas<\/a>, which will examine the notion of rurality and the contribution of research to regional issues. Three full days of panels and workshops will bring together both research specialists and partners from the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Acfas annual conference is the largest multidisciplinary scientific gathering in the French-speaking world. It attracts an average of 6,000 participants from Quebec, across Canada, and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The MT180 national final at the Acfas Congress<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Boudreault, a candidate in the Customized Doctorate in Environmental Health and Data Science program, will represent INRS at the national final on May 15 at 7 p.m. in Ottawa.
