{"id":185448,"date":"2025-02-13T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inrs.ca\/?p=185448"},"modified":"2025-02-12T15:40:20","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T20:40:20","slug":"inrs-participates-in-the-canadian-graduate-and-professional-student-survey-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inrs.ca\/en\/news\/inrs-participates-in-the-canadian-graduate-and-professional-student-survey-s\/","title":{"rendered":"INRS Participates in the Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey\u00a0s"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INRS, in collaboration with more than 50 Canadian universities, is taking part in the <strong>Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n    \n<div class=\"wp-block full-width-image fixed-height\">\n    <div class=\"image-ctn\">\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inrs.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/INRS-etudiants.png\" alt=\"\" \/>\n    <\/div>\n    <p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap wp-block-paragraph\">Conducted every three years since 2007 by the <a href=\"https:\/\/cags.ca\/?lang=fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Canadian Association for Graduate Studies<\/a>, this survey aims to better understand and enhance the graduate student experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-border-color has-light-blue-border-color is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9437c248 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\" style=\"border-width:2px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student feedback is used to assess several key aspects of the academic journey, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students\u2019 satisfaction overall and regarding their program\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervision and guidance for their thesis, dissertation, or research paper\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The financial support they receive\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The quality of interactions with professors and faculty members\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University resources and student life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research experience\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities for presentations and publications\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How is this data used?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results will make it possible to adapt study programs, improve academic support services, and provide optimal learning conditions for graduate students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An email containing the survey link has been sent to students. They have until April 30, 2025, to participate.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By actively engaging in this national initiative, INRS reaffirms its commitment to excellence in
