In turn, this can displace long\u2011standing residents, create feelings of exclusion, and deepen social inequalities \u2014 tensions that reshape the urban and social fabric. This concept is at the center of the work conducted by Professor Sophie Van Neste and postdoctoral researcher H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Mad\u00e9nian at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).
