If you’re an INRS student and you want to share your enthusiasm for your institution, become an ambassador! You’ll play a key role at special events, recruitment activities, and consultations.

Ambassador’s Role

You will help boost INRS’s profile as a leading university research institute for partnerships and the training of scientific leaders. You will promote INRS faculty, programs, and research internships, as well as research activities in strategic sectors for the economic, cultural and social development of Quebec.


Mandate term

Ambassadors’ terms last one year, from May 1 to April 30 and are renewable for an additional year.


How to apply

Interested in the challenge? You must be fluent in French to become an ambassador.

Your application must include :

  • Your university transcripts;
  • A cover letter in French, explaining why you would like to take on this role and how you intend to contribute to INRS’s outreach (1 page);
  • A letter of support from your supervisor, highlighting your communication skills (1/2 page);
  • Your resume
    Please let us know if you speak a language other than French.


Evaluation criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on four criteria out of total score of 100:

  • Motivation (40 points)
  • Academic record (30 points)
  • Support from the research supervisor (20 points)
  • Proficiency in a language other than French (10 points)


Scholarship

A scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to each ambassador to thank them for their commitment.
