The INRS Foundation supports Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) in its development and outreach activities. The INRS Foundation seeks to accelerate the growth of the INRS by enhancing its profile with decision-makers in the business and philanthropic communities.

First annuel campaign
INRS is a hive of up-and-coming scientific talent, training some 680 students to be the next generation of actors in Quebec’s economic, social, and cultural development. Together, they represent an important part of the greater INRS community.
This campaign is all about strengthening the means we have to support our students. By contributing to either of the following funds, you can choose to channel your support into academic excellence or mutual assistance.
Together, let’s support our students.
The Foundation promotes strategic partnerships that help sustain cutting-edge research and top-level training at the four INRS research centres. It does this by building relationships, developing partnerships, and soliciting, administering, and distributing the funds raised. The INRS Foundation inspires alumni engagement and the support of business and philanthropic leaders to INRS’ commitment to innovation and the next generation of scientists.
Why give?
- To support the training of a new generation of skilled scientists and young researchers at the master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral levels
- To support cutting-edge research in key sectors crucial to Quebec’s social and economic development
- To fund new infrastructure and facilities that enable us to push the boundaries of knowledge and how it is applied
How to give
Every gift matters, and every dollar makes a difference. You can support the INRS Foundation in various ways, whether by participating in one of our fundraising activities or by making a cash donation, a planned gift from your estate or an insurance policy, or an in-memoriam gift to honor a loved one. Be it for a one-time, annual, or planned gift, we can help you choose the best option for your goals.
