The INRS-UQAT Joint Research Unit in Indigenous Studies is launching its first scholarship competition for2nd and3rd cycle students who need financial support to present their research at symposia or conferences.

Eligibility
This competition is open to students:
- Enrolled in a 2nd or 3rd cycle program at INRS or UQAT
- Whose director is a member of the INRS-UQAT Joint Research Unit in Indigenous Studies
- Whose research project concerns the realities of Indigenous peoples
Documents required:
To apply for this scholarship, students must submit a file including:
- A one-page document containing the following information:
- A summary of the presentation to be given
- The location of the event in which they will be participating, with a web link to information about the event
- A budget outlining needs and describing the steps taken to obtain additional financial support
- A letter from the research director confirming the information presented in the one-page document
- An up-to-date academic record
- Please note that the bursary will only be paid upon receipt of proof of acceptance of the student’s contribution to the event in question.
- A brief report on the event and its program must be submitted to the Joint Research Unit management committee at the end of the process.
