Mobility scholarships – dissemination of the INRS-UQAT Joint Research Unit in Indigenous Studies 

The INRS-UQAT Joint Research Unit in Indigenous Studies is launching its first scholarship competition for^2nd and^3rd cycle students who need financial support to present their research at symposia or conferences.  

Eligibility  

This competition is open to students:  

• Enrolled in a 2^nd or 3^rd cycle program at INRS or UQAT  

• Whose director is a member of the INRS-UQAT Joint Research Unit in Indigenous Studies  

• Whose research project concerns the realities of Indigenous peoples  

Documents required:  

To apply for this scholarship, students must submit a file including: 

• A one-page document containing the following information: 

• A summary of the presentation to be given 

• The location of the event in which they will be participating, with a web link to information about the event 

• A budget outlining needs and describing the steps taken to obtain additional financial support 

• A letter from the research director confirming the information presented in the one-page document 

• An up-to-date academic record 

• Please note that the bursary will only be paid upon receipt of proof of acceptance of the student’s contribution to the event in question. 

• A brief report on the event and its program must be submitted to the Joint Research Unit management committee at the end of the process.
