Description
This study project, part of a research conducted in partnership with Minwashin, aims to design and develop a language camp model for the revitalization of the Anicinabe ijikijwewin (spoken language). One of the research objectives is to understand, from a holistic perspective (taking into account physical, mental, spiritual and emotional dimensions), beyond the expectations surrounding the acquisition of language skills, the experience of participants (elders, speakers, learners, carriers of Anicinabe culture and knowledge) in relation to the transmission of Anicinabemowin during language camps organized in the Anicinabek communities participating in the research.
