Research interests

Supply chains have been designed and organized according to a logic of optimization, efficiency, and growth, within a stable and predictable environment. Today, this logic is revealing its limits: climate disruptions, economic and political crises, weakening of regions, growing inequalities, and the erosion of the well-being of the communities that sustain these systems. Using a transdisciplinary approach, my research seeks to understand how to transform supply chains into sustainable, equitable, and resilient systems capable of strengthening the well-being of stakeholders and the vitality of regions, within the limits of what ecosystems can absorb. My research is organized around three main themes:

  1. Proximity dynamics and short supply chains
  2. Alternative models and stakeholder well-being
  3. Regenerative supply chains
