Description and Objective
This scholarship program aims to provide financial support to students annually, facilitating their participation in a conference or scientific symposium. The goal is to help students gain experience and develop their scientific communication skills, enhancing their training as researchers. Additionally, this program allows INRS students to gain visibility at various scientific events organized within their field of research.

Amount
Up to $750 to cover transportation and accommodation expenses.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled full-time in a program at INRS.
- The conference or scientific symposium must take place outside of the province of Quebec.
- For those holding a study permit or permanent residency, the conference or symposium must be held in a country other than their country of citizenship.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3/4.3.
- Must have submitted a scientific communication proposal for the targeted conference or symposium.

Application Submission
Applications must be submitted to Joanie.Lavoie@INRS.CA. To be eligible, your application must include the following documents:
- A motivation letter (maximum one page) describing the conference or symposium, the reasons for attending, and the alignment between your research project and the event’s theme.
- Proof of submission of a scientific communication proposal to the targeted conference or symposium.
- A brief letter of support from your research supervisor endorsing your participation in the conference or symposium.
Payment of the scholarship
Payment of the scholarship will be upon receipt of proof of transportation and/or accommodation expenses (up to $750).
Accumulation of scholarships
Only one mobility scholarship for stays outside Québec offered by the INRS International Office and the SESRE may be awarded per student per academic year (May 1 to April 30).
