Description and Objective
This scholarship program aims to provide financial support to students annually, helping them participate in a summer school outside of the Quebec province. It also allows INRS students to gain experience and explore different approaches at partner institutions.

Amount
The grant primarily covers round-trip transportation costs (train, bus, or economy class airfare) and accommodation expenses, up to a maximum of $2,500.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in a master’s or PhD program at INRS.
- Must be enrolled in a summer school program outside of the province of Quebec.
- For those holding a study permit or permanent residency, the summer school must take place in a country other than their country of citizenship.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3/4.3.
- Must have completed at least 9 credits in their program at INRS before the start of the study period abroad.

Application Submission
Applications must be submitted by email to Guillaume Houde, Research Officer at the International Office, at guillaume.houde@inrs.ca. To be eligible, your application must include the following documents:
- A motivation letter (maximum one page) describing the reasons for attending the summer school and its relevance to your research project.
- An estimate of costs related to transportation, living expenses, and other expenses associated with your stay abroad.
- Proof of enrollment in the summer school.
- A brief letter of support from your research supervisor endorsing your participation in the summer school.
Payment of the scholarship
Payment of the scholarship will be upon receipt of proof of transportation and/or accommodation expenses (up to $2,500).
Accumulation of scholarships
This scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships supporting mobility outside the Quebec province offered by the INRS International Office.
