Our Managing Director Luc‑Alain Giraldeau’s talk to the Conseil des relations internationales de Montréal (CORIM) was a resounding success!

On March 18, Mr. Giraldeau addressed a packed room of nearly 350 people on the essential role of scientific research and innovation in Québec’s competitiveness and quality of life. The invaluable contribution of the international INRS community was underlined. Using concrete examples, he affirmed INRS’s unique and necessary role in economic, social and cultural development. He called for action to better support Quebec’s research and innovation capacity.
The conference was brilliantly moderated by Marie-Pierre Ippersiel, President and CEO of PRIMA Québec and an INRS graduate.
