Research interests

Professor Adjallé’s research interests are in environmental biotechnology and green chemistry for the production of value-added bioproducts, biofuels, and biomaterials. Specifically, his research focuses on:

  1. Pretreatment and enzymatic hydrolysis of lignocellulosic residues for biorefining
  2. Production by fermentation and formulation of bioproducts (biopesticides, enzymes, etc.) for different applications
  3. Production of microalgae for energy purposes and to obtain specific molecules
  4. Development of biosourced materials (glues, resins and thermal insulation foam) from lignin and tannins
