We teach the next generation of researchers to develop scientific, social, and technological innovations.
We find solutions through interdisciplinary research and industry or public and community partnerships.
We play an active role in Québec's economic, social, and cultural development.
Attosecond technology is paving the way for new scientific breakthroughs. The Laboratory for Producing Isolated High Energy Laser Pulses in the Attosecond Domain is dedicated to the study of ultrafast physical phenomena and molecular imaging applications.
At the Laboratory for Producing Isolated High Energy Laser Pulses in the Attosecond Domain, isolated molecules and viruses can be photographed to avoid the drawbacks of today’s analysis methods. A better understanding of molecules and viruses will ultimately lead to the development of new medications.
