  • Financial support offered

Project description

The laboratory of Prof. Tarek Rouissi at the INRS Eau Terre Environnement Research Centre is recruiting a new postdoctoral researcher to join his team. This position combines both research responsibilities and group management duties.

The postdoctoral researcher will work on an interdisciplinary project focused on the development of novel biological reactor systems (microbiological MBR/MBBR, and enzymatic) for the degradation of pollutants, particularly sulfur-containing compounds and PFAS. Part of the project will involve scale-up and demonstration of the developed technology.

In parallel, the postdoctoral researcher will contribute to group management, including the supervision of laboratory operations, student mentorship, and coordination of research directions. The candidate will also be involved in preparing funding applications, writing scientific publications, and fostering external collaborations. Depending on their expertise, the postdoctoral researcher may also be invited to participate in other ongoing research projects.
