Project description
For candidates with a background in organometallic chemistry
This interdisciplinary metals in medicine project aims at the design of organometallic complexes and the study of their potential as catalysts and therapeutic agents.
The project consists in:
- the synthesis and the characterization of various organic, inorganic or organometallic complexes under inert atmosphere using glovebox and Schlenk techniques,
- their characterization using tools such as nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry and single crystal X-ray diffraction, as well as
- the evaluation of their reactivity in biological settings.
More details about the project will be discussed with the candidates who will be selected for an interview.
