Overview
The educational stay or event can take place in another Canadian province or in another country. It may include:
- Student exchange programs
- Practical internships
- Research internships
- Seminars
- Conferences
Two academic sessions totaling a maximum of eight months are eligible.
Level
Master’s and PhD
Amount
- Mobility lasting one month or more (up to eight months): $1,500/month
- Mobility lasting less than one month: $400/week
Eligibility
Must be enrolled full-time in a program at INRS
Must demonstrate that the activity is relevant to their academic training
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.3
Must have completed at least 9 credits in their program at INRS before the start of the study period abroad
Application Deadline
Any time.
Selection Committee
Upon receipt of an eligible application, a scholarship selection committee is formed. The committee consists of the Director of the Graduate Studies and Student Success Service, the Director of the relevant study program, and the Scholarship Liaison Officer. This committee will decide on the awarding of scholarships.
Application Submission
Students must complete the appropriate form, adhering to the following requirements:
- In the designated space on the form, the applicant must provide a detailed description of the activity they wish to pursue outside of the province of Quebec, including:
- A description and justification of the activity’s relevance
- The period during which the activity will be conducted
- The application form must also include:
- An academic transcript
- A letter from the host institution confirming the dates of the study period
- Signatures from both the research supervisor and the program director approving the activity (if the program director is also the research supervisor, the form must be signed by the center director instead)
- The completed form must be printed, signed, and submitted to the Graduate Studies and Student Success Service.
