- Academic Life
We teach the next generation of researchers to develop scientific, social, and technological innovations.
We find solutions through interdisciplinary research and industry or public and community partnerships.
We play an active role in Québec's economic, social, and cultural development.

Update : March 14, 2023
INRS applauds the Government of Canada’s announcement confirming that international students can now be welcomed in Canada to continue or begin their studies at INRS, as the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented their return or arrival in Quebec.
This is great news for our whole academic community as it means that students will be able to access INRS facilities in the pursuit of their studies.
As of October 20, 2020, international students may enter Canada if they are attending an educational institution having a COVID-19 response plan in place and approved by the Government of Quebec. INRS is on the list of educational institutions designated as ready and compliant to welcome back all students wishing to pursue or begin their studies in Canada.
All specific information will soon be available on our website to help students come to Canada safely.
