International Innovation, octobre 2013, page 48, INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier Research Centre

Dr. Charles M. Dozois received a B.Sc. (Agr.) in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Agriculture of McGill University (1990), an M.Sc. (1993) in Veterinary Microbiology from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal, and a Ph. D.(1995) in Microbiology-Immunology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal.

Following work as a postdoctoral fellow in immunology at INRA (Toulouse, France) and a research associateship at the Dept. of Biology of Washington University (Saint-Louis, MO, USA), he joined the INRS – Institut Armand-Frappier as a professor in 2001.

His research centres on further understanding the mechanisms of host-pathogen interactions. In particular, Dr. Dozois is interested in the identification and characterisation of bacterial genes that are expressed in vivo during infection of the host and the discovery of new microbial systems that contribute to pathogenesis.
