Intérêts de recherche
Les travaux de recherche du professeur Zakaria Abou El Houda englobent les domaines de la sécurité des réseaux et portent entre autres sur l’intelligence artificielle appliquée à la cybersécurité, notamment aux systèmes de détection d’intrusion dans les réseaux critiques (ex. réseaux électrique intelligent, L’Internet des objets (IdO), IdO industriel), à l’étude de l’explicabilité et la robustesse de ces systèmes, à la sécurité dans l’apprentissage automatique distribué/fédéré, et à la chaîne de blocs (Blockchain). Il s’est spécialisé dans les questions de renforcement de la sécurité des réseaux de la nouvelle génération (5G et au-delà/6G O-RAN). Plus particulièrement, il s’intéresse :
- Cybersécurité.
- Sécurité de l’Internet des objets (IdO)/Internet of Things (IoT).
- Systèmes de détection et de mitigation d’intrusion, l’étude de l’explicabilité, la robustesse, et la résilience de ces systèmes.
- Intelligence artificielle appliquée à la cybersécurité.
- Intelligence en périphérie de confiance, sécurisée, frugale, et explicable.
- Orchestration et automatisation sécurisées des réseaux (SDN/NFV).
- Sécurité des réseaux de la nouvelle génération (5G et au-delà/6G O-RAN).
- Intelligence artificielle et convergence quantique (IA quantique)

Biographie
Zakaria Abou El Houda est professeur adjoint à l’Institut national de la recherche scientifique, au sein du Centre Énergie, Matériaux et Télécommunications (INRS-EMT). Zakaria Abou El Houda est membre de l’unité mixte de recherche INRS-UQO sur la cybersécurité et la confiance numérique, où il dirige le Laboratoire de cybersécurité résiliente (RSEC).
